She may have raised eyebrows as the outrageously randy foreign exchange student in the teen sex comedy American Pie, but for her follow-up she's entering even more dangerous territory -- she'll play a heroine who wards off evil in Scary Movie, which spoofs teen slasher flicks like I Know What You Did Last Summer and Scream. So what better place to photograph the actress than Hollywood's Paramour Mansion, the very place where parts of Scream 3 and Halloween: H20 were filmed. The castle comes with a bit of Old Hollywood history, too -- it's where lavish candlelit soirees were headlined by such Golden Age luminaries as Errol Flynn, Douglass Fairbanks and Mary Pickford. We figured that Elizabeth might want to dress up in the modern-day version of the glamorous party wear that was once worn within these antiquated walls. What we didn't expect, though, was that our star would slip into a ghostly trance, perfectly in keeping with what we heard about this old house: that it's inhabited by spirits who love to put visitors in thrall.
