I WAS EXTREMELY PLEASED to see your interview with Angelina Jolie's brother, James Haven, written by Todd Gold ["Her Jamie," April 17]. I applaud Us weekly for talking to Haven and finally clearing the air. It is so refreshing to see journalists going out and getting their subject's side of the story instead of continuing absurd rumors.

I SIMPLY CANNOT BELIEVE the attention Angelina Jolie's affection toward her brother is receiving ["Oh, Brother," by Dana C. Topping, April 17]! It is completely ridiculous and truly sad. It should not be considered "out of the ordinary" to care so much for someone who is tied to you by blood as well as by friendship. There are far more important things for reporters to write about than a little display of affection toward one's family. Get real.
