Born Valerie Anne Bertinelli , on Apr 23, 1960, in Wilmington, Delaware, USA. Reportedly 5' 4".
Men are often accused of having little or no interst in women above the neck. And maybe this is true for the most part. Which makes Valerie Bertinelli all the more interesting, since between her unvaryingly squeaky clean TV persona and less than voluptuous physique she doesn't offer much in the way of a sex icon. Her whole career is essentially built on the cuteness of her face, which, though it's chubbed out some over the years, is still nice to look at.
Cuteness aside, Valerie's reason for remaining in the public consciousness rests on two things: her role in the old TV series One Day at a Time (which ended in 1984), and her much examined, denial-propped marriage to sometime rocker and perpetually relapsing alcoholic Eddie Van Halen (to whom Valerie bears a disturbing physical resemblance).
