The wisdom of Hannibal Lector in The Silence of the Lambs was, ultimately, “we covet what we see every day”, and this certainly must have been the case with Erin Gray, whom I had no interest in initially but only gradually came to appreciate after regularly seeing her on the inane Buck Rogers in the 25th Century, then lost interest in her again after I couldn't stomach the show anymore. Thank God I wasn't watching Roseanne back then.
