In the late 80s it seemed like Karen Mistal might become a regular presence in the B movie circuit (although her films were usually B-movie spoofs), but then she mysteriously disappeared from the scene. Perhaps she was exiled for her apparent unwillingness to work nude. Or she has a boyfriend who disapproves of the film roles she seems to attract. Or she's dead. Or hiding out with Charlie Spradling. Whatever happened to her, this is one movie geek that continues to carry her torch.
