Born Concettina Principale , on Jan 3, 1945, in Fukuoka, Japan. Reportedly 37-22-35.

For all her fame and success as a TV actress, Victoria Principal still has a hard time being taken seriously. Or any other way. It seems she's a notorious loose cannon in Hollywood, whose wild woman past (“I was obsessed with sex...I thought that maybe I was a latent nymphomaniac”), disastrous public romances (one with her financier, ending when he tried to strangle her, one with Andy Gibb, ending after a fight over drugs, one with Frank Sinatra), aggressive personality and off-color remarks constantly get her into trouble. Then there's the matter of her looks. At a time when TV was looking for blue-eyed blondes, she lost role after role on account of looking “too exotic”. (“You don't look American,” one producer told her. “What are you? Latin? Eurasian?”) Black depressions and flirtations with suicide were common. Part of the problem, apparently, was that she felt acting was her whole life, and when she wasn't acting — which was often — her life was in the toilet. Solution? Get out of acting and into something else. Which is exactly what she's done. Now, apart from the occasional movie-of-the-week, her career has basically come down to selling self-help books and beauty products.

Also sprach Golem.
