Born on Mar 21, 1963 in Burbank, California, USA.

Though uncommonly husky-voiced and small-chested for an 80s scream queen, actress Jill Schoelen (daughter of well-known fashion designer Dorothy Schoelen) nevertheless rose to minor prominence as the heroine of 1987’s sleeper hit The Stepfather, for which she won several awards and a promising future in horror movies. Unfortunately, that future was quickly ground into obscurity by a slew of unwise, talent-wasting career choices, including awful horror flicks (Curse II: The Bite, Popcorn, State of Mind), forgettable non-horror movies (Cutting Class, Rich Girl, Adventures in Spying), and, perhaps, terminating her engagement to future star Brad Pitt (or breaking up with future star Keanu Reeves earlier on, for that matter). Jill’s bogus adventure in Hollywood came to an end after 1995’s Not Again!, whereupon she left showbiz for nine years to raise her two children with husband Anthony Marinelli, returning only briefly for the ten-minute film She Kept Silent.

Also sprach Golem.
