It's been said that “many a man in love with a dimple makes the mistake of marrying the whole girl”. I've been guilty of this same sort of confused fascination with movies and the actresses that star in them: more than once I thought I liked an actress when really I only liked the movie they were in, and vice versa. Nowhere could that be more clear than in the case of Chloë Sevigny, who for the most part doesn't really appeal to me (although she didn't look too bad in Palmetto), but whom I'm always happy to see in new films on account of being a fan of the movie Kids. Or maybe I also like her as an actress. I don't know: talent, story, looks — if I like one, sometimes I think I like them all.
