A former Playboy playmate, Teri's film career began with films like Return of the Killer Tomatoes, The Banker, Far From Home, Savage Beach, Marked for Death, Predator 2, Innocent Blood, Masquerade and episodes of Married...With Children. For my taste, this was her best period, aesthetically speaking: she'd managed to soften up the harsh-looking face she had in her original Playboy appearance and to find a cup size her body was best suited to.

But then she ran into money problems after surviving a car accident and, when Playboy proved less than helpful, turned to X-rated films. This led to a series of ever-larger boob jobs (some of them very poorly done), a reputation for very loud, over-the-top orgasms, a tour of duty at the Bunny Ranch, and a brief relationship with Prince Albert. (“He really was a very sweet person but had so many problems. He took a lot of prescription drugs. Maybe that's why he wasn't such a great lover.”) Another car accident pulled her out of the porn biz for a while, but she was back on her back before long, this time as a blonde.

Sure, she may look a little silly now with those over-sized implants (although they look better now than before), and the bad dye job isn't really working to her advantage, but she did look really good once.

A Date with the Implants of Destiny
Since I moved out of the L.A. area my brushes with minor stardom have been few and far between. Now I have to content myself with hobnobbing with celebrity through the good graces of others. Here's one guy's story:

I was at work today (12/19/99) at the CD shop in Canoga Park in Los Angeles' lovely San Fernando Valley when a loud but friendly couple came in. She had big hair piled up high, great big hooters barely contained in a black lace bra, a little bolero jacket with a retro-80's feel to it, a tight and shiny black vinyl miniskirt and knee-high spike heel patent boots. She was tan and looked pretty good for someone her age (I guessed about 35-40).

He had that kind of shaggy blonde mane that 80's metal doodz have these days if they haven't gone with a really short 'do. He was a little buff and wearing a strategically cut sweatshirt and (I think) jeans.

So, they bopped around the store for a few minutes unselfconsciously before bringing up some CDs for purchase. She whips out her checkbook then her ID. Teri Weigel!?! I was shocked that I didn't recognize her.

She told me she had been living in Ft. Lauderdale, Florida for a couple of years and was recovering from a car accident. She showed me a small scar on her neck. Her husband said she was finally recovered. She said, “I'm back and ready!”

I professed to being a fan of her 80's/90's B-movie work, rattling off the names of winners like Predator 2, The Banker and Night Visitor. Her hubby was delighted that I had seen these movies, and asked if I had seen Savage Beach. I told him I had and that I loved all the Andy Sidaris movies. He asked me if Andy was still making those movies. I told him no but that I thought his son Christian was.

Teri piped in with, “Oh, so you like the Playmates, huh?” and opened her arms wide to hug me. Those big implants squished against my right shoulder for a second as she wrapped her arms around me. It was weird, to say the least, especially considering her happy hubby was standing five feet away, beaming.

Anyway, they said they lived nearby and that they would come in to my shop to buy all their CDs. Maybe I can get a picture or two for you.

The moral of this story: If ever you find yourself living somewhere in L.A. county but your girlfriend wants you to move in with her far, far away, just say “no”. Girlfriends come and go; silicone is forever.
