Asia Carrera's XXX Buttkicking Homepage
I've never been a fan of porn star Asia Carrera herself, but I'm a big fan of her web page and her online personality. Every time I go to her site I resolve to rent some of her videos, but this heady zeal for Asia artifacts usually dissipates before I make it out the door.
Birth of an Octopus
Sometimes like doesn't always beget like...
Thomas Blackthorne Fachiro
A site of various and sundry curiosities (including The Iconophile), the primary one being Thomas Blackthorne himself, a trilingual performance artist who does a lot of disturbing things with Jack the Ripper-like tools and other sharp objects. Very cool layout and artwork, too even the links to other sites (all of them graphic and often animated) are interesting to look at.
Body in Mind
A Canadian's penis speaks out in an online journal of beauty in popular culture.
Bryan's Rice-Boy Page
Sometimes people ask me if I deliberately try to provoke people with my little commentaries, and I have to explain to them that I don't, that I really am an asshole. Bryan Hong, on the other hand, does write to incite, and he's got as muchif not moreposted hate mail as I do. But no matter how good a writer Bryan does or doesn't become, his reader responseslike minewill always be the best part of the site. ("Hey you fuckin pussy drip!" and "Dear fag" are typical opening lines here.)
Cartoon Girls I Wanna Nail
I couldn't believe this site when I saw it, but it's exactly what the title suggests. Gotta admire his frankness.
Cathurian RHQ Bad Cinema Diary
Straight-to-the-point, illustrated summaries and commentary regarding more awful b-movies than even I've ever seen. This guy looks at films the same way I do.
ChildCare Action Project (CAP) Ministry Reports: Christian Analysis of American Culture
One of the funniest film review sites online. Basically, it's a religious cuss word-counting site that applies a "scientific" methodology (the "WISDOM meter") to determine the spiritual merits of popular films. Rest assured that it's seldom a question of whether or not a film is evil and corrupting it's a question of just how evil and corrupting the film is. No one from Harry Potter to Jay and Silent Bob is spared.
Divine Interventions
Scary or funny? You be the judge.
Fametrackers: The Farmer's Almanac of Celebrities
Sorta like The Iconophile, but funnier.
IDLabels.com
One of the web pages for a place I used to work at. Buy something from them. Nothing would disturb them more than to get the majority of their referrals from this site.
Jabootu's Bad Movie Dimension
A whole site full of very funny film reviews and other film-related musings. I wish I knew about this place a lot earlier.
Jump the Shark
Amusing autopsy site that chronicles the moment when an actor or TV show peaks and starts swirling down the toilet bowl. (The expression "jump the shark" has actually entered popular parlance.)
The Mini-Mizer
Ever wonder what you'd look like if you woke up one day to discover that you'd been living in the Matrix and that the whole world was in fact part of Legoland? God knows I have. Well, wonder no more, because at Chris Doyle's "Reasonably Clever.com", your residual self image awaits you in high quality plastic.
Mr. Cranky
Entertaining film review site in which popular films finally get what's coing to them and the art of the insult gets raised to new levels.
Puera Mea Exstat a Tergo!
Inspired literal translation of Sir Mixalot's "Baby Got Back" from the original Latin.
Singing Schlong
The adult version of the WB's singing frog. I can't believe this didn't become the next "dancing baby" obsession.
Tokyo Toilets
I was always under the impression that Japan was a fastidiously clean little island, and perhaps it is until it comes time to take a dump. See the scatological saga of one man's search for a clean bowl and some paper in the land of the rising sun, complete with animated toilet instructions (Japanese toilets have a higher learning curve than the U.S. variety), stall photos that look like crime scenes, prize-winning graffiti, and maps to where all the action is.
ZineGirls.com
Lots o' back-issues for Playboy, Maxim, Femme Fatale, Celebrity Sleuth, and more.
