Angelina Now Ambassador for the North Pole
In her capacity as ambassador for the U.N. High Commissioner for Refugees, Angelina Jolie and husband Brad Pitt made a quick and unannounced visit to San Jose, Costa Rica to hand out Christmas presents to Colombian war refugees.
A nice gesture, certainly, but I think that if I were a destitute child refugee, bereft of all personal belongings and any place to put them, I might prefer that Angelina keep the presents and hand out something more edible.
(And if we’re going to be sending what for many is the world’s sexiest woman alive on these sorts of goodwill missions, older refugees, too, would probably prefer she do something else to lift their spirits.)
