Karen Sisco Retires Early

It’s not like anyone who isn’t a critic couldn’t see this coming.

Happy as some of us might be to see Carla Gugino regularly on the tube, there was too little wit to make the show particularly clever or funny, too little originality to make it seem like anything but a lazy over-reliance on clichés, and too little of Carla’s cleavage to compensate for the show’s lack of anything else worthwhile to offer.

Well, now it’s official: According to TVGuide.com, ABC’s plans to launch a second season of Karen Sisco in March have officially been scrapped.

Hopefully Carla will find something else soon so we’re not left with just the Spy Kids franchise to catch an occasional glimpse of her in something new.
