The Brown Bunny

By now you may have heard the buzz about The Brown Bunny — it’s terrible, they say, but Chloë Sevigny is not only naked in it, but goes where Maruschka Detmers (in The Devil in the Flesh), Tatsuya Fuji (in In the Realm of the Senses), and few others in more-or-less mainstream movies have dared go before: she performs explicit oral sex on someone (in this case, Vincent Gallo). Which is both good and bad — good in that another hole may get ripped through the iron curtain dividing the world of full-blown porn and mainstream movies, bad in that the movie is reportedly so awful that it’ll probably go straight to video without ripping any sort of hole at all.
