Where Are They Now?

She was a household word nine years ago when Wild Things made her the object of the world’s collective bukkake fantasy. Her achievements since then have been progressively low-key: Her ill-fated marriage to Charlie Sheen, her ho-hum spread in Playboy, her Olympian laptop-toss, and now her seaside paparazzo labia exam (below). I was as lust-stricken as everyone else when Denise first stepped onto the world stage, but seeing these photos, I can’t help but to ask, “Where are they now?”

And by that, I refer not to Denise’s career — which was aborted almost immediately when she decreed she would never work topless in film again — but to her boobs, the reason she had a career in the first place.

Perhaps they were a casualty of her latest pregnancy (she gave birth to Lola Rose on March 9, 2005). Perhaps she pulled a Kari Wuhrer and had the implants removed. Either way, if Denise hasn’t commanded much attention these last nine years, she’ll be commanding a lot less now.
