Celebrity Fit Club

It was almost ten years ago when I spotted Erika Eleniak shilling for the “Fill Up & Go” weight-loss system; now, presumably, she could be a customer.

At 152 lbs (she was 108 lbs in her Playboy days), Erika’s joined the cast of tubby former celebrities on the fourth season of Celebrity Fit Club to shed the unwanted baby fat from her pregnancy (courtesy of a Canadian key grip named “Rock”).

Whether Erika will look significantly better at the end of the show than she did at the beginning is anyone’s guess, but there’s something else she’s getting out of it: she comes off here as a very likeable, well-spoken person, something that hasn’t really shown through in any of the movies I’ve seen her in (where she was beautiful, but little else). So despite my eye-rolling at this and all the other lame reality shows currently clogging our television arteries, I hope this season of Celebrity Fit Club goes well enough that this more charismatic Erika will at long last get a real debut on the screen.
