Seriously, When Has There Not Been Something About Jessica?

Not that I’m complaining, but ever since Jessica Alba so solemnly declared that she was done with sexy roles and photoshoots a couple years ago, her roles and photoshoots have not only continued to capitalize on her sex appeal, but have gotten even more sexually suggestive.

And I don’t just mean the Maxim-esque photoshoot she recently did for GQ. Or even her semi-naked turn in the upcoming Good Luck Chuck. But one of the posters for the movie (at top), which shows Jessica suggestively enjoying an ice cream cone that’s dribbling down her hand — and the tagline “There’s something about Jessica”, referencing the famous semen-gelled poster for There’s Something About Mary (in case anyone missed the significance of the melted ice cream).

Again, nothing wrong with that. At all. But at this point it might make sense for Jessica to drop the transparent prudish act and, like “Dirk Diggler” at the end of Boogie Nights, openly embrace what it is that makes her a star.
