The devil in Miss Joanna

If reality TV — that genre of television where so many celebrities go to die — counts as a comeback, then Joanna Krupa is back. And she has the sort-of topless photos in Maxim to prove it.

The show is The Superstars, from which she was initially eliminated in the first episode, but put back into after another team was disqualified. And later this year she’ll be hosting Ultimate Women’s Combat.

And this after blipping on the celebrity radar as a rising star just some five years ago. What happened?

Well, between an article in TV Guide and the new one in Maxim, it seems that the problem might be that Joanna doesn’t play well with others: she “got into it” with Superstars host Warren Sapp “a few times”, ripped teammate Terrell Owens a new one on camera and blamed him for getting them eliminated, gets aggressive to anyone who wears fur or was ever a Michael Vick fan ... a pretty face and great body can go a long way in Hollywood, but not if you’re tagged as difficult to work with.

Hopefully she’ll learn a little diplomacy while she’s still young(ish). If not, at least we’ll probably still have the odd Maxim photo shoot to mark her descent down the ladder she never really got to climb.
