More Than One Way to Skin a Site

It’s been the better part of a week since Mike Wilson’s last telephone tantrum regarding this site (that I know of), so I’m guessing that either the threat of a countersuit for spamming off my webhost’s server was more than he wanted to deal with, or someone finally explained to him the difficulties involved with suing for pictures that aren’t his.

Whatever the case, it seems Mike has changed his strategy and he’s now busy contacting people who do own some of the pictures. So today I received a threatening letter from Perfect 10 magzine regarding a few of the photos in my galleries. (It looks like I’m going to have to pay a lot closer attention to the pictures I get from newsgroups.) I got rid of the pictures they wanted, so hopefully that matter is over with. I can only hope that things pick up at Mike’s own Kendall site; maybe then the force that drives him to try to extort money from other sites and harrass the ones that don’t cooperate will dissipate.
