The Queen Is Dead

Anyone nostalgically longing to see a return of the Barbarian Queen tragically got his wish today — it was reported around 5 AM that Lana Clarkson was murdered in the castle-like Alhambra home of legendary rock producer Phil Spector. The details have not yet been made public (although there is some speculation that she killed herself), other than that former OJ lawyer Robert Shapiro has been brought in to defend Spector. Surprisingly, the media circus one would expect to be leaping on this story fizzled almost as soon as it began.
