The Station Agent

Not the post-Dawson hooterfest I was half-hoping for — and Michelle Williams is hardly in it, to boot — but a good, fun film nonetheless, one that I’d be tempted to see again if I didn’t have to drive so damn far away to see it.

And though Michelle is only a minor character in the film, I was again reminded that, apart from being a good-looking actress, she’s also a pretty good actress — she may or may not have much of a range, but she’s charismatic and convincing within the range that she’s shown thus far — something that tends to get overlooked in my rants for her to do more nude scenes.

Like any long-time fan, I hope that she gets lucky enough to land a role in a mainstream movie that people actually go and see. Until that day comes, though, it’ll be the Internet pix and clips of her occasional nude scenes from the films no one saw that keep the public’s interest in her alive and burning.

She’d be wise to keep that fire stoked in the meantime.
