The Hottest Mila
Ah, to be young forever. Who wouldn’t want that? At 26, maybe Mila Kunis.
I just sat through Max Payne last night a tedious experience I don’t recommend and wondered how it was the Mila Kunis was cast for this quasi-femme fatale role ... in which she largely looked like a child playing dress-up. Cute, funny, and otherwise talented I’ll grant her, but vampy seductress? Maybe if the audience is made up entirely of pedophiles.
Am I alone in thinking this? I suspect not: While I was puzzling over Mila’s presence in Max Payne, Mila was on Spike TV for its third annual “Guys Choice” awards. What did she win? Not the “Femme Fatale” award, which went to Angelina Jolie. Not the “Decade of Hotness” award, which went to the ever-loopy Halle Berry. And not the “Hottest Girl on the Planet” award, which went to Angelina lite, Megan Fox. No, Mila got the somewhat less prestigious “Hottest Mila” award, in recognition of her achievement in being the younger of the two Milas up for it (34-year-old Milla Jovovich was the other.)
Not that there’s anything wrong with looking like an adult trapped inside a tween’s body. But for that and a long list of other reasons, God knows I think I’ll pass if they ever make a Max Payne 2.
