Even at the peak of her fame, most Americans had no idea that Pamela Anderson was not in fact American. Now, a decade later, they’re only half wrong. From TV Guide:

GOD BLESS THE U.S.A — Canadian-born babe Pamela Anderson officially became an American citizen Wednesday after acing an interview and 10-question test. “I felt it was important to become a U.S. citizen in order to vote in the United States,” Anderson says. “I have no intention of giving up my citizenship in Canada and am very proud to be a Canadian.” And to prove it, she moved to America and became a full-fledged citizen!
