In this age when geekdom has become somewhat fashionable and geeks are regularly portrayed by the likes of Keanu Reeves and Angelina Jolie, one tends not to take such declarations very seriously when the speaker looks like Sascha Knopf.

Certainly I hadn’t seen much evidence for it beyond her fondness for Björk, browsing the Internet, and occasionally posting on her Yahoo! fan club message board. She does have a website of her own, but not one she runs herself — she doesn’t know how. She is, to be sure, a nice person — don’t get me wrong — but a geek? Probably not.

That is, until today, when I learned that not only does Sascha now have a blog — where she posts pictures of her co-workers, friends, neighbors, and herself taken with her digital camera — but one she runs herself with iWeb, which means she’s a Mac person to boot.

How geeky Sascha really is is anyone’s guess, but more and more Sascha is becoming every geek’s dream come true.
