Ghost World

It’s not often that I can say this about someone on this site, but it looks like Thora Birch has beaten the odds and made another really good movie.

Ghost World is about a couple of ambitionless, cynical girls fresh out of high school (Thora Birch and Scarlett Johansson), who’ve long taken pride in their contempt for the monolithic strip mall culture they live in, but are forced to reconcile themselves to it now that they have to get jobs and live out on their own.

Thora doesn’t get naked in this picture, but a good film always grants a pass on the usual nudity rules.
